Welmon Sharlehorn

 

Absolutely nothing positive can be said of this man's character, but he is utterly unique. He came straight to my gallery when he got out of Angola ( a natural enough thing to do) with a body of imaginary architectural renderings unrivaled even by Europe's insanest art brutes. The Rosenaks chose him (and Singleton) for their exhibition Made in the USA at the Museum of L'Art Brut in Lausanne.
